We promote it on our website, through our daily deal email, on Twitter and on Facebook. Our members talk amongst themselves and make plans around the deal, then make their purchase. It's simple, interactive and social.
Does it cost anything to sign up for DealConnex?
Nope. Signing up is free - and will allow you to receive emails about our daily deals (and any other special offers we may run).
Do I need to sign up to buy one of the deals?
Yes, you'll need to create a DealConnex account. Signing up will allow you to be notified about our exclusive DealConnex deals. Don't worry, if you get tired of all our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time.
What types of deals do you have?
We offer a new deal each day, which typically expire within 24 hours. If you miss out, don't worry, we also have great side deals! There are always new deals coming. These deals are premium deals - the best of the best.
How do I buy a deal?
If you like a deal, you can simply click on the 'Buy Me' button to buy your voucher. If enough people agree to buy the deal, everyone gets it! We only charge your card if the deal meets group minimum requirements. If we don't reach the minimum, your credit card will not be charged.
What is 'tipping' the deal?
If enough people sign up for the deal, it reaches its 'tipping point' and the deal is a go. We need a minimum number of people to buy the deal in order for it to activate.
Do I have to sign up a group of people I know to get the deal?
No - although it will help to 'tip' the deal and you can make up to 20% for each referral who saves as well.
Once I buy a DealConnex voucher, how do I use it?
After the deal closes, we'll send you an email with a link to your voucher. Just click the link, print your voucher, follow the redemption instructions, and have fun!
When can I use my voucher?
You'll receive an email receipt confirming that your card has been charged within a few minutes. Your voucher will include everything you need to know to redeem it, and will include instructions on how to print it. If the deal hasn't tipped yet, your receipt will arrive when it does. If the deal does not tip before time runs out, then your card will not be charged and nobody will get the deal.
Can a voucher be given as a gift?
As long as you print out your voucher and give it to your friend personally, it is transferable and allowed to be used as a gift.
If I don't use the full value of in my first visit, can I use the remainder later?
No. Unless otherwise stated, you may not receive store credit or cash back for the amount you don't use.
Can I combine my vouchers with other offers or specials?
No. Vouchers can't be combined with any other offers.
What happens if my voucher expires?
Each deal has an expiration date, so check it carefully before buying. Once a DealConnex voucher expires, it loses its promotional value, but you can still redeem it at the price you paid for the length of time stated by gift certificate laws in your state. According to applicable law, the business may be responsible for allowing you to redeem your Voucher for the cash value based on the money you actually paid for your Voucher (i.e., if you paid $20 for a Voucher which gives you $50 of value to the business, the cash value that you paid is $20, not $50), for a period of time that extends beyond the expiration date on the voucher.
What if the business closes down before I use my voucher?
If your voucher is for a business that has closed before redemption, we will issue you a 100% refund.
Can I get a refund for my purchase?
DealConnex cares about your satisfaction. Our deals are special one-time offers, and therefore officially have a no-return policy. However, if you believe your experience deserves a special exception, please contact our customer support staff. We'll look into your specific situation and see if we can help. In addition, if your voucher is for a business that has closed before redemption, we will issue you a 100% refund.
